Humans of the Forests - Sonia's story
Sonia is an indigenous Mapuche woman who works as a gatherer in the forest. She and her family live from what nature and the forest give them. Because the forest is PEFC-certified, she and others in her community are allowed to enter it and gather wild fruits and medicinal plants.
